Lucarelli knightsbridge in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, has launched an exciting new menu concept which is believed to be a first of its kind on the London dining scene.
'La Merenda', which literal translation is 'things you have to deserve', is an Italian tradition of an exquisite afternoon snack which is enjoyed between lunch and dinner. La Merenda is a a beautifully curated picnic hamper brought to your table encasing a delicious selection of savoury and sweet delights, all carefully selected and crafted by the restaurant's talented chefs.
The new menu, will be available daily between 2pm and 5pm, is set to transport diners to the idyllic Italian Gardens, with its quintessential, authentic flavours and charming picnic experience. The menu will include traditional Italian delicacies such as Trancio di Focaccia, Mini rosetta Mortadella, the sweet treats of Crostatine alla frutta e crema Chantilly, Bombolone alla Nutella and other Italian desserts, all served with a variety of hot and cold drinks served in Lucarelli style special individual drinking bottles to complete the perfect 'merenda' experience.
